Book a Discovery Call

Let's talk about your child's path.

A discovery call is a focused, no-pressure conversation. We'll learn where your child stands today, and show you what an engineered path forward looks like — whichever grade they're in.

By design, we take no more than 15 students per application cycle — reach out early.

We typically reply within one business day. Your information is kept private and is never shared.

Questions

Before we talk.

Our core work is with students in Grades 8 through 11 — that's where the four-year method has the most room to build real achievement and impact. We also take on Grade 12 students for Application Counseling and Final Review, where we compress the cycle to make the most of the time remaining.
No. Within each year we run a compressed version of all four steps — discover, prioritize, pursue, reflect — always pushing achievement and impact as far as the student can reach in the time available. We accelerate the cycle; we never skip it. Many strong applications are built on a focused, well-engineered final stretch.
Both. We work with families virtually worldwide, and in person across Greater Vancouver. The method and the standard of work are identical either way.
Two things. First, our point of view comes from inside the room — Horizon was founded by a former MIT Admissions Officer who has read the files and sat in committee. Second, we lead with method, not packages. We don't write a better story; we engineer the achievement and impact that make the story true. Substance first, narrative second.
The earlier the better — beginning in Grade 8 or 9 gives the roadmap the most time to compound. That said, the right time to start is now, whatever grade your child is in. A discovery call is the simplest way to understand the best path from where they stand today.
